I went out today and saw a spike chasing a doe like it was full rutting season. He attempted to mate multiple times and never let his nose get more then a few feet from her rear end. I issuable see this happening in October. Any thoughts?

This is pretty common here in the "16"....Young bucks are always trying to get the jump on the big boys....Does will DICtate when they'll breed.... ;)
