Dam Canoes

Had an awesome adventure with my daughter this weekend. A group of us launched in canoes just below the Hoover Dam. We spent two days hiking into hot springs, exploring, paddling, cliff jumping, and camping. If you have not done this trip I highly recommend it. I will be trying to
make this an annual thing from here on out.

Awesome, good for you! Did a similar trip @ Lake Powell Dam, couple months back on our way back from Silverton / Durango Co.
Wife and I, brought our own Kayaks, backhauled upriver 18mi to the dam. Took our time, 2 day trip, only saw a couple other souls the whole time, fished up some great trout along the way!
For those interested, look-up Lee's Ferry, upstream is the dam, downstream is the grand canyon.

I made the dam to dam run once. But missed the hot springs. I’ll make the run again one day and get the cords for it next time.

Just to the left of this picture there is a cave called the sauna cave it’s insane probably 100’ deep full of steam.
