Deer kill?

So found nice quiet spot in the national forest, found water, lots of deer tracks. Looked good ckoke point. Nice day out in the woods, And as approach this very strong ranked smell. I tried to take a pic , but pictures are not my strong point. I thought is was weird it was up on tree. Waist high. I saw nothing but lots of track maybe a good spot.

I walked over a fawn like that late one night and did a predator stand. Started calling and within minutes there was a pissed off cat about 25yards away in the bushes. Very likely a mountain lion. But with that said,I agree with LP Chipercabra.

I will be back to that spot. I need to get out more often. Getting cool nights.seems like early winter. And Truduct thanks for sharing.
