The dfw claims the estimated hunter success in d16 during the 2014 season to be 18% yet their were only 195 deer killed that were reported and i seriously doubt their were many that last year that went unreported which means that the success rate was truly 6.5%. But that begs the question why is the dfw lying to us? Biggest load of bulls*** I've ever seen. I also have included photos of the statistics I've used so yall don't think I'm paranoid d2dbb9ded7f36dc8fcb0ddb8c7b18356.jpgfde1bf9202ea9ae500834b8208efa04a.jpg

DFW adds a certain amount knowing that some go unreported. My guess that the amount added is grossly inflated to paint a prettier picture than what is really going on. It will be interesting to see if they still pad the stats after they go to mandatory reporting. My guess is that they will still use the same number. Ed F

It will be a similar smoke and mirrors game for bears. DFW stopped allowing dogs for hunting bears, but this year (2014) they arbitrarily began adding all depredations to the number taken. That's a lot of bears now being tallied that hunters are not taking, so will be interesting to read their spin.

Maybe deer killed by cars was added in........................ :-[
Even if they added those in it wouldn't be enough. I'd never seen a road kill deer in San Diego til yesterday when I saw one on my way to the valley

Road kills.....hit sunrise hwy you'll see plenty

The bear total using depredations WTF

I know what it is! The DFW is using Common Core math now. BTW - according to the antis the success rate should be 100% because, after all, according to them all we have to do is walk up to them and shoot them with high powered sniper rifles...right?

Don't even get me started on common core math. I hate it with a passion I wish I was part of the generation that never had to learn this way. the way they expect you to solve problems is just perplexing you need to use the most complicated method to solve a problem not the easiest most effective. When hunting animals follow the path of least resistance why shouldn't we learn the same way? instead of overly complicating everything to the point where it makes no sense to 90% of the people learning it. Also I have another argument against it in 2 words. States rights. (sorry for the rant I just can't stand common core)
