Did anybody go to the San Diego County Wildlife Federation meeting 8/10?

Yes, It is believed that the two new members of the Fish and Wildlife Commisision were acting on orders from the Governer to ban the trapping of Bobcats and ignore the science. It also looks like the Al Taucher conservation coalition may be the California sportsmans best friend in getting things straight with this commission. A great presentation with lots of questions and answers by Mr. Flores.
I was there as well......The best part about Mike Flores (head of USSA & former state commissioner) is that he's a democrat.....I actually think he can talk to some of the dems in the legislature and just maybe get them to think on the side of common sense, science, and what hunter & fisherman bring to the table.

At Monday's meeting, we decided to change the date of our September Federation meeting. Our usual date falls on Labor Day this year, so we decided to change the date to Wednesday, September 2nd. Please put this date on your calendar. I will send out another reminder a week before the meeting.
