duck hunting around morgan hill ca?

my dad is working in Morgan hill ca about 25 miles south of San Jose ca for a couple months , my question to you guys, is there any duck hunting up in that area ? I'm driving up there for the weekend and was thinking we'd hunt up the opener up there.

any info would be great.

Only about an hour from San Luis, Los Banos, Volta, and other refuges.....

The lottos are at Los Banos for the state refuges and San Luis for the NWRs. Banos only lets you put in for one, Merced is the best, Banos is all blinds this year so its okay but you may not get on, dont waste a lotto on volta unless you know the X. For NWRs Kesterson is all blinds, San Luis has the blue goose blinds and the rest is free roam. If all else fails go to Volta, they get the first cracks at the flights coming off Oneill forebay.

Merced, Gadwall Unit, and Banos are probly the best. Grasslands probably wont shoot well until after thanksgiving.
