Hello All,
Today at 3:00 pm, the city council will vote on next year's budget. I received this message from a friend that is very close to Councilman Larry Kendrick, with a link for our comments whether you live in the city or not. Apparently, a Seattle organization is "stuffing" the comment link in every city to defund all police dept's. While changes are needed, we need to support our local PD and not "defund". Please help El Cajon and make your comment count...

my good friend Phil Ortiz is on the City council. Trust this will not happen in El Cajon. City council and school board has been stacked with conservatives for years. We don’t mess around in East County. My church is very proactive in making sure the right people are in power
