Are there any local places to purchase elk meat? I see you can purchase online, out of state.

Ive seen it at Iowa Meat Farms down on Fairmount Ave.

Home grown meats in La Jolla has elk. They also sell local grass fed angus beef that's to die for. Not too expensive either.

Not anything to be worried about. I am just not a fan of the flavor of beef that has been grass fed. I like my beef to be finished off with grain and corn.
