Anybody been to fisherman's camp? Not much info on the place and was hoping to get some info on the place. Was wondering what is actually there to hunt and how it is and stuff. Any info is great thanks!
You talking the one in CNF? In the San Mateo wilderness?
If so it is really just a flat, nice, hike in only camping area. That area is very thick chaparral. Just like anywhere else in North CNF quail, rabbits, dove, coyotes, and deer..... and pot farms.
The history of fisherman's camp is pretty cool. I wish I had the opportunity to fish it back in the day.
My fault for not being more specific. The fisherman's campground I'm talking about is close to lake arrowhead in the San Bernardino mountains. Any info on that.
Deep creeks runs though it, kinda low this year, not really sure about the fishing conditions this year but a few years back it was great tons of natives, but as far as hunting goes your best bet would be quail.
