Is a USMC issued ILBE pack. Don't think its the current issued ruck these days, I think there is a newer ruck being issued out. SOLID pack! Ive carried 100+ pounds for miles in these things. Its built tough, but on the heavier side...as far as backpacking packs go.

It's made by Propper & designed is by Arcteryx. They are on the heavy side for sure. 9 lbs I believe, but built to last. I'm completely happy with it. It carries weight very well. I got lucky and got a brand spanking new one.

older ILBE main pack. Its a functional pack, excellent construction and can take a serious beating (marine proof). Same pack in the original post, but you might be missing the lid. The lid/top pouch can be buckled on and off.

I think the older ones, like what you have, had that flap in front/center, that partially covers a lot of the molle. Comes in handy to strap on some bulky stuff or second pack.
