Here are links to a few great how to videos on using the mouth call. Scott Ellis is regarded as one of the best or possibly the THE best mouth caller in the nation.

That's fantastic Matagi, thanks. You said that you really like Woodhaven Toxic Orange mouth call. Is there one or maybe two other diaphragm calls you feel are superior as well?

I also like the Billy Yargus final touch, down n dirty lethal injection, hook's executioner, knight & hale prosecutor, MAD Matt Van Cise cut call, MAD ship wreck, Southland call's Sadler's ghost cut, woodhaven classic V2, V3, and the simple ghost. My all time favorite cut would be the ghost cut, I can make really nice excited yelps to near perfect kee kees. But it all depends on your palate and how you can get the air through the reeds. Some people can call on the heavier latex calls while others prefer a more lighter prophylactic reed.

Thanks. I learned on the Primo Sonic Dome, which is pretty high pitched. I can get it lower with effort, and I can get it to rasp, but I've ordered a ghost, V3 and Toxic Orange to see if they get a little closer to the mark. In the meantime, I'm working on the rhythm. Those are great videos!

That vid is great, thanks Lumpy! I think its safe to say to hit up Lumpy for all the Hook's calls needs. :)
