Assembly Bill 173 requires that the California Department of Justice (DOJ) supply state information, including personal identifying information, to the UC Gun Violence Research Center at UC Davis, and allows the DOJ to provide this same information to certain non-profits and state agencies. This legislation creates grave privacy concerns, as well as concerns that this information could be provided to groups that create biased “research” to push gun control policies without actually researching root causes of violence.

Glad I buy my ammo out of state! Fuck them!

Is anyone surprised by this? How many times have I said, one law at a time. they may not be able to take our weapons but they will make it very difficult to but ammo, hence rendering them useless. This is Dem. controlled state guys, Just look at the results of the recall election he got 72% of the vote. They WILL continue to pass restrictive legislation until they achieve their liberal anti gun goal. NO PRIVATE GUN OWNERSHIP. I'm old enough so I won't be here when that time comes but for you younger guys, watch out.

62.8 % but who's counting. I know at one point I heard 72 % bouncing around. Still amounts to a very liberal govt. You want numbers, I would be willing to bet 100% of anti gun legislation that comes to the state senate floor gets passed. Some don't make it out of committee but if they do they will become law. One law at a time guys.
