Heading to Lake Poway in the am

First time I will be bass fishing this year, has anyone been catching bass at poway? Are they up in the shallows yet or still deeper? Any baits or rig suggestions?

Maybe you should use a bow

A bow would have been the preferred method today. As always saw a bunch of toads lurking along the shore.

Next time You go bring a casting rod and a spinning rod. Throw a texas rigged senko or a swimbait on the casting rod and a weightless senko on the spinning rod. I always have luck on senkos for some reason. What were you throwing

I mainly threw weightless senkos and super flukes.
