Hello from San Fernando Valley

Hi guys, i have probably done an intro here before but I'll do it again.

I have been meaning to go out hunting for a few yeas but never managed to get out there because of not knowing other hunters...I do go spearfishing often...

I have a shot gun, a 30-06 and an air riffle.

I have been taking a woodland firefighter course that requires a lot of hiking (Training) so I decided to go out and hike with a gun in places where its allowed of course. My first day out was last day of deer in D11.

Since then, I have been going out every week, sometimes solo, sometimes with my dog and the best one, my 9yr old son has been coming along on some trips.

We are having a great time exploring the woods and learning new things...we found some water guzzlers, spooked deer, quail and rabbits. No kill yet...

I would love to go out hunting dove or ducks. I guess I need to head to IE, IV, AV for that right? confusing...anyone has any tips?


If anyone is looking to join up on hunts, let me know...I welcome the company.

Welcome Sir. Just come to the IV and make a weekend out of it. Hunt for some dove, pheasant, quail, coyote... and whatever else is in season. Great weather down here right now

Thank you...I am going to be traveling that way soon...just need to do a bit more research to figure out where to go.
