I understand...There are a number of hunting & shooting clubs/organizations in the LA and Orange Co. area...I was also told that NWTF is going to start new chapters in Santa Barbara & LA.

I’d love to join if they do. Headed out early tomorrow morning for guzzler tune ups with Santa Clarita QUWF.

Pixley, tijauana, SD,, Oceano, bitter creek, seal beach, ellicot, san joaquin, hopper mtn, large parts of sunny bono and imperial, batisquitos, jamul ER could have been a WA. Holenbeck has limited access, that spot where @ilovesprig just posted the monster buck could have been huntable, but less than 10 hunters showed up. More ppl for the mtn bike community, who are not friendly to hunters interests, showed up . Plenty of other ERs that could have been WAs. Need i go on? We, as a community, should be fired up about this stuff.

I tell everybody I know that Mtn Bikes to NOT be against hunting or any other outdoor recreation because you'll be next and doing so is acting against your own interest. Probably the damn XC crowd that doesn't know what if feels like to have somebody come though and destroy all the fun stuff on a DH trail. It's why I really won't complain to land managers about somebody on an MX bike where they aren't supposed to be. Dont need to bring attention that something migh be better closed.

We definately need to get more people involved and more people introduced to hunting in general.
