Hunting Lease

My father and I are looking for a lease for the upcoming deer season in the greater san diego area (D16 tags). Anyone know anyone who's looking for some extra cash and might be willing to lease property or know a good real estate agency or something to go through. Or does anyone have any information on clubs? All I can find online is my country club.

MCC is first class. Their slogan is "more land than you could dream of owning", and it's true. Not cheap, but safe, private and they manage their game well. Go online and read their info. Several of us are members. As for other properties, I can't speak for anyone else, but if I knew anyone who'd let me hunt their property for favors or cash, I'd already be doing it and I wouldn't share it.
But you can always knock on doors; lots of us have done that too. Every time I meet someone with land in the east county, I ask them if they have any animal pests they need help with.

+1........$3,500.00 a year (family rate) in the hunting lease world isn't really considered much......The membership includes one buck (3 points or better), 3 turkeys, dove, quail, band-tails, varmints, waterfowl & fishing on Henshaw......Well worth the money IMO...... ;D

Beyond that it's Tejon which is twice the money for the deer lease and then you have to know someone to get in.......so I guess that's out too

It's not like WT country........
