The seller needs to bring his/her mil ID & Mil orders or a CA drivers license

Buyer needs to bring his/her mil ID & Mil orders or a CA drivers license and a second proof of residency (utility bill etc). See Below:

ID REQUIREMENTS:

CA RESIDENTS:
You must have a valid CA Driver's License or Identification card that establishes your identity, place of residence, and age.
o Please note that a residence address is where you physically live. The Federal and State governments will not allow us to accept a post office box.
o If your CA Driver's License or Identification card is suspended, revoked, or expired or if you have unpaid fines, registration fees, child support, etc. then your firearm purchase will be denied by the CA Department of Justice.
o If the address on your California Driver's License or ID is not current, you will need an additional government issued document with your full name and correct address.
Some common examples of acceptable government issued documents are: DMV vehicle registration, Dept. of Consumer Affairs guard card, tax bill, FAA pilot’s license, registered voter card.

NON-RESIDENT MILITARY PERMANENTLY STATIONED IN CA:
You must have a valid Military Identification Card that establishes your identity and age. We will use your PCS orders to show that you are permanently stationed in CA.
o If you reside at an address other than your duty station we will need an additional government issued document with your full name and correct address in order to be able to sell you a firearm.
 Some common examples of acceptable government issued documents are: DMV vehicle registration, Dept. of Consumer Affairs guard card, tax bill, FAA pilot’s license, registered voter card.

o NOTE: If you happen to have a valid California Driver's License or ID, it can be helpful. Please show it to the sales associate.
The following "proof of residence" requirements apply to ALL HANDGUNS!
Before we may sell or deliver a handgun to you, you also must have proof of residence acceptable under CA law.
