I was just notified that I drew Unit 43 in Idaho for Elk (rifle). Super excited! I hunted Unit 33 last year. I had a great time and had some really good opportunities, but couldn't quite get the bulls to cross over from private to public. Had cows at less than 50 yards, but the bulls seemed to know where the property line was located. Unit 43 should be a blast ... it is a tough unit to draw. I drew as a member of a party hunt with 3 other hunters. Time to start training hard ... the slopes in Idaho are no joke.
