In the field - Mature Buck Down!

Is that side broken off or is it just a nub from old age? Thats awesome though!!!! I would like to see what that tank looked like a year or two ago especially with mass and width like that at his age!!!!!

Nice big old boy. Definitely a trophy Forkey. What is distance from center to outside antler?

Thanks Doug...

Darryl measured him and he was a 20" wide deer before his rack was broken. Roughly 100" deer. He was probably much bigger a few years ago.

You don't see a broken rack like that very often, that's a bummer! Nice one though. Have you came to any conclusion to the injury? A bullet perhaps?

Not sure how it happened Tim. It definitely occurred after the antler had hardened. The bases on this animal were about 3" around so however it happened it was an amazing force.

Yes - I like the Kuiu system a lot. No snaps, no elastic just easy access and it keeps the binos clean.
