Just a reminder for all you guys that have kids.....The NWTF J.A.K.E.S Day at the Range is June 23rd and the sign-up date starts this Friday June 1st (760-803-4868).....Last year, I was full with a 105 kids by 2:00 pm, the 1st day of sign-ups....So don't delay.
Kids are free (6-17)....Adults are $10.00....That includes t-shirts and certificates for all kids....Also includes lunch and drinks for all.....Volunteers to help in each of the 7 stations get t-shirts and JAKES hats.
The event starts with registration at 8:00 am. Then stations open at 9:00 am after safety speech. The 7 stations are tomahawk throw, archery, black powder, 22 rifle, shotgun clays, BB gun, and turkey biology/calling....Lunch around 12:00.
Event is held at Escondido Fish & Game Assoc. shooting range near Lake Wohlford (16525 Guejito Rd. Esc. Ca. 92027).
