Just arrived at my spot - time for Deer

Very windy today. Swirling so I don't know how active the deer will be.
Spending the next 4 hours trying to fill my G13.
No one is out today because it's a Tuesday. Hopefully last nights rain has the Detroit today.

Wind had picked up quite a bit but has now settled down some. Just met another hunter (he's after a buck so we're coordinating a little). Going to be a good end of the day with the clouds adding some reflected light. No deer yet, but lots of sign (some that is older than last night's rain and some that is newer).

Very nice day and great exercise. But no deer.
Found some spots up high with views of hillsides with 100-200yds. I'll be going back there again.

dang, I cant imagine hunting in that thick stuff. I guess i'm used to desert, it must be a whole new game hunting in that. Good luck bud, stick with it you will connect soon.

yes you get in the thick brush that is 15 feet high, it is misery. being there done that.
I try to stay in open or low brush. but some here have had good success.

Got out there again today. I'm getting better every time. G13 ends on Sunday night.
This season is a real workout (and that's good for me).
I hope you all are having better luck than I am. I think the deer are now nocturnal in my area (and boy does it get dark quick when the sun goes behind the mountain.
