Just messing with my head

So I took a day and went to the Pala Range.

The weather was perfect the crowd awesome and I just wanted to practice with my 308.

Half way through my session, we randomly had to stop and cease fire.

Turns out 2 deer popped up around the 800 yard mark and started casually walking through the range.

Then an hour later it happened again with another buck at 600 yards.

I mean. seriously?

you have to wonder what goes through their heads. I wonder if they were just so full and happy from all the rain and grass that they could care less.

Deer acclimate to what's around them, be it a freeway or homes or aircraft or yes a gun range. The range causes them no harm so they learn to not fear it.
