Lake Jennings trout opener 11-1

Not 1 trout caught on the whole lake as of noon when we left. Fished the handicap dock till 10 with 1 bite, then moved to the shoreline near the boat ramp
and had 3-3to4lb. trout patrolling the shore in 18" of water.
Used power bait on 3 poles, yellow,rainbow,pink,and brown. No go. Even threw a cast master for a bit with no luck.

I've fished the opener several times and it always sucks. Not sure about today...but usually the water is way too warm. I have seen many floaters.

Wait a few weeks until the water cools and the inventory is up.
