Looks like we are starting to open up lakes and boat ramps for more fishing and recreational opportunity. Thank God! It's about damn time!!

Yeah they get big in melones and get this the state of califeenia is trying to classify New Melones as a warm water lake so they dont have to plant it . Bunch of BS

Wow really. Remember some them big ones bigintheboat used to catch there and post. Lol actually I remember seeing all them trout. MERLE fishes there alot.

I've caught some big trout just below, out of Tulloch before too. That system has some good ones.

Here's one from the Don Pedro system. It had a baby swallow in its belly when I opened it up. I wish I would have taken pictures of the bird too but unfortunately I didn't.

Yep Malones is one of my favorite lakes and McClure. Pedro I dont fish enough to know it well.
Nice fish I enjoy the pictures.

Yeah really a swallow !!! WOW thats crazy . Well when their hungry guess the old saying is True!! And Yea when I heard that about NM being a warm water lake it was just the icing on the cake of how our state is run . NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY thats ever been or ever will be a warm water lake unless they continue to turn Califeenia into a desert .

I had an old timer tell me something when I was in my 20's and it always stuck with me and that trout with the swallow in it really drove it home. He said "If you're trying to catch the big boys always remember, lions don't eat mice"
