Made a few stands and kept getting busted by bird hunters. Decided to go deeper into the thick stuff and call. First dog came in about 15 mins in after spooking some jack rabbits out of the area. Smacked him with the 22-250 at about 110 yards. On my way out of the area I caught movement at the edge of a field and found dog #2 scratching the living hell out of itself under a bush. I got down on a knee and made a shot. When I got up to check it out It was obvious it had mange. Glad I put it out of its hell. Ended up with a bonus kill to make 2 for the morning.
