Lions and livestock

The part of that regulation saying “or domestic animals” is very good to know because the definition of livestock is sometimes limited to commercial animals on an agriculturally permitted property.
 
That's the "shoot first and ask questions later" clause.

Edit: Keeping in mind this part of the regulation:
(i) The permit does not invalidate any city, county, or state firearm regulation.
 
That's true, but claw marks are easily lost in soft sand, which this track appears to be in. Cat tracks can also have claw marks if the cat was running.
For sure, sand can cause tricks., we have a big cat coming around at night. I see the tracks on my road. Big boy.

look at the link I posted , scroll down , they show a Mt Lion's front and back paw. notice the back paw is more narrow than the front paw. but still in sand it gets difficult some times.
