I have a 13 year old grandson whom I have just introduced into shooting. I took him to the Escondido Fish & Game Association range last weekend for a Junior Shoot. They had one-on-one instruction and he had a ball. The only problem he had was that he's a lefty and all the rifles were standard right-hand bolt action rifles. I then took him out the next day and let him shoot my 22 semi-auto. That worked out much better for him but I would like to get him a left-handed bolt action rifle for Christmas or his birthday in April. I don't care if it's single shot, magazine load or tubular load. A buddy just hit the Phoenix gun show yesterday without success. I'm going to try the Crossroads of the West show at Del Mar on the 17th. Anyone have any other suggestions? None of the gun stores I called in the San Diego area have one. I know I can get a new Savage Mark II GL for just over $200, but I would rather buy him a used one if I can find one. HELP!
