Hey everybody - Looking for a hunting partner (deer/bear) in D11/D13. I could commit to D14 if there's a compelling reason. I'm located in Los Angeles and in my late 30s. This is my second season chasing deer and bear. Popped a pig last year up in central cal. I scouted D11/D13/D14 zones last season but need to put more miles in, and am down for overnight scouting trips / have no issue hiking in miles, but am somewhat limited by the fact that I am a weekend warrior. My old hunting partner has a few life things that he's working on and I'm not sure he'll be able to make it out this year. We went on several overnight scouting trips last year and narrowly missed a buck during the season.
I'm fully geared-up for multi-night trips, have a meat hauling backpack and good glass (binos, mini spotter, rangefinder). I also spend a good amount on the range if you guys want to go shooting as well. I have an SUV with AT tires but it's not a serious off-roader - that will be solved this year.
Focused on deer/bear but I also like upland and have taken some small game.
