So I'm sitting in the dark getting ready to start glassing this morning and then I hear a mountain lion scream about 100-150 yards behind me. Does it about 4-5 times, stops for a few minutes and then goes again. Pretty creepy....no idea why we can't carry a handgun during archery season

That's crazy. I've seen a few mountain lions while hunting but never heard the scream. Nerving night for sure. Stay safe!

First time I ever heard that I picked up my stuff and started stalking towards the noise because I thought it was a woman/girl in trouble. It's crazy how human it sounds
