My 1st San Diego Buck

Thank you all I appreciate it. Yeah I always enjoyed riding bikes, so it was fun to be able to utilize it for hunting. It was a little different getting out of there with all the weight shift as I went back out the trail but I made it out without a problem. I will be getting a rack on that bike before next year and finding a better way to tie it down.

That other buck must have wanted those does to himself… he was 3x3 but a little smaller.

LP and other on the site have great ways to field dress so you can leave most, if not all, of the bones behind. That way maybe you could save the money you would have spent on the rack, and get a toy that's more fun! ;)

Search on "field dress" in the search bar.

Thanks everyone for the info! I will definitely do some research on the "hack n haul" ;) that you guys recommend for next year.

That's awesome man! Welcome to the forum. Good idea riding your bike in and out. So much better than hoofing it. I'm surprised all the noise didn't scare off the buck though
