I just recently got into hunting out here on the West coast. I immediately noticed the ridiculous amount of coyotes out here and i had heard before that its a very rewarding hunt. So i started trying to hunt Coyotes and have so far had no luck whatsoever. After spending all of 5 minutes on forums about coyote hunting and just predator hunting in general I've come to realize its as much a science as it is an art. Its not like hog hunting in Florida where if you spend more than 30 minutes in the swamp you're coming home with something. So all in all i guess the question i have is what type of gear do i need or what would be helpful as well as what are the basics i need to know about coyotes or where can i find that information myself. I'm more than willing to put in the homework for a good yote hunt. Thanks a million in advance.
