Newbie to hunting

So I currently got my hunting license last year, and I was wondering if I can take my brother in law hunting with me even if he doesn’t have a hunting license, He won’t be shooting, I just need him to go for a worst case scenario.

Perfectly legal as long he's not hunting and a good idea.....I don't think there's any law that says he can't carry a sidearm either.....But who knows, It's Commiefornia.....lol

I'm not sure, but I don't think your brother can carry unless he's hunting or in camp (his temporary domicile).
