After running the hounds in NM when the snow was fresh and the lows were single digits. We decided to go down south to hunt some Javelina. We set up camp north of Lordsburg and filled the tag that weekend. The conditions were fair (super windy) as usual but lows weren't tooo bad. After spotting them at around 400 yards we ran their way and successfully stalked them at the top of a hill. After a horrible shot which shattered her hind leg I ran after her down the hill and put a second arrow in her. Officially popped my bows cherry. Super fun hunt even saw a nice buck all alone. Will be heading back south this weekend to hunt some quail with the Brittany.
