Report for today: seen a bunch of whitetail, no bucks. Seen 2 good muleys, and 4 or so smaller bucks. No elk yet. Hoping to see something worth shooting tomorrow.

Go get one! It'll be my last year going up there for a long long time. More hunters then deer is never a good thing.

I couldnt believe how many hunters were up there. worthless. I stayed friday night and I stopped counting at 56 vehicles between 2am and 6am. When I parked i had no one around. When I woke up I had one truck 200yds behind me and 4 trucks about 400 yards in front! I left after a guy and his son literally waved at me like I was their buddy and then proceded to walk in front of me and down the draw I was glassing. I couldnt believe it. I left and went to an area that I hadnt seen deer in for a while but I just had to get away from the crowds.

Man, and I wanted to hunt D13 because I am sick of D14. Hmmm.....

I think you would have better luck hunting in the Bank of America building in downtown LA! Its a bad combination of lack of water and large groups of hunters doing deer drives. I really think the only option is backpacking in away from the madness.
