Ono chunk and a Rainbow Runner

We are vacationing in Kuaui. So for today's adventure we jumped on a boat for some deep see fishing. My daughter was up first and we had about 25-30 pound Ono on when a shark showed up and wanted it. Pretty hard to argue with a shark.

Next up was my son. He got about 5-6 pound Rainbow Runner. Pretty close to our local Yellowtail.
Was great table fair. Tomorrow we will cook up what we were able to save off the Ono

They can put up a fight though.. used to catch em off South Point, Big Island on cut squid bait.
