Hunted some public land we had been scouting for the past couple of weeks. Got there nice and early to make sure no one beat us. We settled into the blind about an hour before shoot time and had teal and spoonies landing in the decoys shortly after. For the first hour of shooting it was wide open teal, we had plenty of opportunities but we shot pretty bad. I somehow managed to snag two mallards and a gadwall in between the balls of teal. The flight shut down around 930 and the heat started to show so we packed it up and left by 11. Finished with 2 mallards, 1 gadwall, 8 gwt and 1 cinny.
