Participate in AB 3030 Hearing Call

On Wednesday, the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water will consider Assembly Bill 3030 (authored by Asm. Kalra) which proposes to restrict access to 30 percent of California's waters and lands by 2030. The bill also directs the state to consider new marine protected areas (MPAs) in which recreational fishing may be banned.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 12th, 9am-Noon
CALL #: 1-844-291-6364, Access Code: 5718846

INSTRUCTIONS: The Senate will limit you to stating your name, affiliation (angler or organization) and your position on AB 3030 -something short like "PROTECT FISHING, I URGE YOU TO VOTE NO ON AB 3030!"

Say no more, No less.

AB 3030 is moving fast with little public attention and could land on the Governor’s desk within weeks.
