Phone Scope??

I just got the vortex one for the razor 65. Haven't done any field time with it but its very cool. I just looked at it and it comes in 2 pieces. The phone piece has vtx stamped on it and the spotting scope eye piece attachment has phoneskope on it. So if you want more reviews, the vortex is same.
Looking across street I'm very impressed. If you're planning on buying it, look into a bluetooth shutter button for picture taking. You could use a delay also if your subject is bedded down. Video would be ok but your video will be shakey the first few seconds.

I was just thinking the other night that I hoped this type of product existed. The spotting scope I have is a 1980s vintage Nikon from my father. So I thought there was no way that a video adapter would be made to fit that scope. But it looks like the PhoneSkope generic adapter would work. Very cool! I'm going to have to check them out.

Last picture blurriness probably due to wind shake. All pics were taken with 3 sec delay from phone.

Same battery usage. To conserve, use airplane mode (esp if you don't have cell service).
If you're going to use phone for consistent viewing purposes, bring a shade or overhead drape. Hard to see with screen glare. I believe that is what happened with the shaky last pic. I found it hard to fine tune the focus due to glare. However the phones auto focus helps with the latter.

great post Xjon that's exactly what I wanted to see

This was taken with a phoneskope behind a diamondback spotter. It was about 600 yards. I have video but I can't figure out how to load it on here. Also check my YouTube page and all of my videos are done with my iPhone six using the phoneskope.
