Picked for back up for Sleepy creek ranch pig and bear hunt

I submitted for the Share hunt for Sleepy creek ranch Oct 5th and 6th bear and pig hunt. I was not picked for it.
Then this Monday I get a call from DFW asking if I can make it and want to go.
Heck yeah I'm going.

Do a web search first ......some share hunts are not that great......of course ability is a factor but so is property knowledge.

At least the guy that won turned it back in instead of just letting it go unhunted. Cant wait to to hear about it.

Hey guys, so the hunt was ok. The B&B was very nice.
My hunting buddy and I saw no hogs, plenty of old signs but no hogs. Saturday afternoon we were checking a different trail and spotted a bear, probably in transition. We stalked it the rest of the afternoon into the evening and did not catch it. There was plenty of bear sign, and Bonnie the owner of the B&B said she had bears messing with her chicken coop.
Next might try for the late A zone deer. While we were eating lunch at the B&B there was a four point buck harassing a couple of does about 150 yards from the porch of the B&B.
I'll post some pictures tonight.
But alas no game was gotten.
