Hey all. I will be up in button willow off the 5 for a special hunt this weekend. My wife nad my son and i will be "hunting" planted pheasents and on sunday my wife is going to the woman's only hunt as well. it will be good for my wife and son as well as the dog. but as for me.... does any one have a line on some public hunting up that way thats not too far of a drive? I can always come back to the los padres/frasier park area but...... ??? it so dry and nasty plus id have to pull the grade to get there. does taft have any places? i know dont ask for spots but since ill be up there and i dont have time to scout maybe you can point me to a parking lot or something. oh year ill be hunting upland unless some one (taft hunter maybe?) wants to take me hog hunting? ive got the grew cab and i will drive????
