With wolf numbers increasing at 25% growth rates, wolf populations are doubling every 3 to 4 years. Failure to act and anti-management litigation has already resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of elk and moose within key herds. With depradation numbers spiraling out of control, any further damage to Rocky Mountain Elk, Shiras Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer and Whitetails will only become more devastating.

There is a reason these animals were almost eradicated. Between lost of wildlife and loss of livestock wolves can be a scourge to an area. The problem is many activist have a loud voice concerning wolves and they would prefer to see wolves pleasure kill deer and elk over having hunters harvest them and put the meat to use. Every time a Wolf season is suggested the opposition to it is very vocal and well funded.
