Reloading for the .260 Remington

The 260 is a very forgiving round to reload, its accurate with almost any bullet. I've been using the 120 Nosler partition for a deer load and have recovered one bullet so far it was completely intact after passing end for end in a small local deer.

120 Grain Barnes TTSX
Remington cases
Federal 210M primers
44.5 grains IMR 4350
COAL 2.035"
OAL 2.870"

It is my recipe for .5 inch groups!

I will probably want to make up my first loads with the Barnes just because of the "lead free" thing in Ca.

He is shooting a Sako. Rough bores and Sako's aren't synonymous. ;D ;D ;D ;D
