Hi guys, thanks. I apologize for being so scarce on the forum for the past couple of weeks. I was out of cell and wifi range nearly all the time, or driving (first to WY, then to CO). Full stories to follow, but on 9/30 I drove with a buddy to meet up with two other friends for a Muley hunt in Wyoming's Area K (SW corner of state). The result: 414 yard kill shot on a 3x3 with white tail type main beams. Lots of good meat, and brought home some liver for MJB's dog

Drove straight home 10/5, a Saturday, cleaned up and got the meat put away, worked three 14-16 hour days, then Thursday noon was off to Colorado to meet up with my brothers for a 5 day guided elk hunt in Area 64, outside Montrose. That was the hunt of a lifetime. I passed on several nice bulls as my brothers took a nice pair of bulls, walked all over the ranch's 7,000 acres with my awesome guide, and we took a nice 5x5 on our next to last day.
Pics of both are attached. I'll get you more details on both hunts over the weekend and will catch up with what's happening with the forum. I have lots to report on how my gear worked that should be interesting as well.
I owe a tremendous debt to so many of you on this forum for getting me headed in the right direction. You guys (and gals) rock!
