Anyone know any places to hunt Waterfowl? I've been looking online but most websites are very vague or require you to reserve a spot

Hi Nate, your best bet is to ask questions about techniques for better hunting rather than where to hunt. If hunting spots are described online then thousands of people will see it and the increase in hunters will drive off the game animals. So basically if someone were to say where to hunt then they would need to immediately start looking for a new place to hunt. The best way I’ve seen it stated was when a well known member replied to a location post by saying he was going to hunt the spot where the deer would be moving now that the previous spot was over run by hunters.
But you can definitely get an amazing amount of assistance from this forum, just focus on asking how to improve your hunting techniques and sharing your successes (and misses).

Wister is going to be your best bet, 2.5 hours from San Diego. Hunts Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays. Wister has free overnight camping, just got to sign in. Put in for the drawing, get a card and post up, best way to get a experienced duck hunter to learn from.
