Had a great time on Wednesday at San jacinto . Had the #2 ressie get there and #1 is a no show. Fifteen minutes before shoot time we are watching duck after duck flying around . When horn finally blows we start picking off birds . What was super cool was the bands of rain that would come thru and birds that would come with it . At the end of the day we ( four shooters) ended with 18 ducks( six species) . Originally it was going to be three shooters and my next door neighbor taking pictures for a college photo essay but he over slept. He came on his own and another hunter on a refill took him out in the afternoon. Thanks to that hunter. This will be a day that will not be forgot.

Was that the guy taking pictures at the check station? He mentioned something about sleeping in and was supposed to be out there with someone! ‍♂️♂️♂️
