When is a good time To start scouting? I have 3 areas i want to scout. Now, spring, or summer? Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Anytime is a good time to scout.....Turkey season is just around the corner too.

I was out scouting a new area today. Took coyote hunting gear with me for after scouting I made a few stands. Hiked 10 miles total on gps did not find what I was looking for.

theres no season on scouting, 365 days a year if you got the time.

Scout and learn as much as you can. Boots on the ground is the best way to do this. I glassed up 10 deer in D16 yesterday. 3 legal bucks and the rest does and fawns.

I prefer scouting now for socal as summers can be brutal and I don’t get along with rattle snakes.

Perfect time to scout and less or zero encounter with Mr snake.

If you can see the animals, it's a good time to scout.

Haven't started my scouting yet but whenever i can get out there the better for me.
Currently in Puerto Rico for work.

Same to you and anytime is a good time to pattern them but like the others said watch for the snakes when it gets hot!
