Selling sheds?

Unless there's been recent laws passed, it's still legal to sell shed antlers in CA right? I'm aware it's illegal to sell dead heads and full mounts. But, if I mount shed antlers in the style of a hunted deer mount and try to sell it (to hipsters) would I be opening myself up to targeting by CDFW law enforcement? Asking for a friend..

I do believe it's legal to sell sheds and put them on or be part of a display, but not on a mule deer head...No part of native to California bird or mammal may be sold...And of course, waterfowl.

I would suggest writing CDFW and getting a written response if you are concerned.

I would just disregard the thought of doing it... the end result might not be worth it. My 2 cents... Ed F
