I have a couple Crazy killer golden doodles! I have always noticed they have hunting instincts... followings scents, interested in birds and rabbits, etc. plus their smart and listen extremely well. A 3 months ago my wife found a dead rabbit. 2 weeks ago we found a dead skunk, today I came home to this! Haha is a year old too late to teach them to hunt?!0cc02549539f4a863a94b0aa37781e28.jpg822fcc4c846f7ff2498c94d77ca4d404.jpg98c8252f73b1746b6d31bb2074f7c662.jpg0cb7b16827462afa4003977927f3fb56.jpg0a643b59895b6728aed5251e8740511e.jpg

Owen,

Poodles were originally water spaniels, natural retrievers....One year old is not too old, if they aren't gun shy.

ps......See the skunk & rabbit, but don't see the 3rd animal.

The rabbit is the third animal, didn't get a picture of the first rabbit.

Quite a pest exterminating duo! Our Malti-poo stalks birds and lizards, you can see the hunting instinct. I thought the third victim was that multi-colored snake in the last photo
