Give the podcast a listen, and I love this simple method. For my up coming elk hunt using my 338 RUM, a 15 MPH wind will produce 2 MOA at 400 yards, ~3 MOA at 600y.
This was helpful for me, not having to tape a wind dope to my rifle.
Lol I would love to hear more! Is it completely wrong? I know it neglects aerodynamic jump, but to me I would only use this under 400y. Over that I would use a solver.
