Single or multi pin sight?

I'm looking to upgrade from the stock 3 pin sight that came with my bow. Prices vary from $60-$300 now even spending over $100 on one is tough for me but curious on what you guys use and why?

I'm leaning towards the Trophy Ridge React 5 pin sight but came across some articles on single pin sights and now I'm considering a single pin..

Bow N Arrow shop suggested that I replace my OG 3 pin with a new 5 pin with super small pins, they said they're pretty reasonable. Debating on a single pin....

I use an IQ 3 pin sight with the bottom pin being a slider. I'm good to 40 and then can single pin after that. 90% of my shots are 40 and under. Ed F

I also use a multi pin slider. Montana Black Gold - Ascent Verdict. It’s kind of the best of both worlds. I personally do not like pins larger than .019. My longer distance pins are .010.

Ed, how do you like the retina lock? Gimmick or legit?
I was looking at HHA because they have a military discount.

100% legit.... you may believe you have the best consistent grip in the world but you're wrong. The retina lock doesn't lie.... Ed F

Multi pin is more praticle for the average. Adjusting up or down moving to the next pin or in between and you are ready to shoot.
I got a 4 pin and helps me to move my aim from 20 to 50 quickl. It might seem a little crowded but it actually helps me to stay focus.

I have a 4 pin as well...I've only used the top two (20 & 30 yd.)...And have only killed 4 bucks.

I'd take Ed F's advice on any of this kind of stuff (Bow & Arrow Shop and Willow Creek Archery too).

I use a multi pin for hunting , but use a single pin shooting targets. Single pin on targets you don’t have to split the pins, but when hunting you don’t need to be that accurate splitting the pins at say 40 yards or less,
